Ajoite - The Crystal of the Divine Feminine

     Ajoite is a pretty rare Crystal Mineral type, and it is found only in limited localities around the world, more notably from Ajo, Arizona, United States, where its name was derived from, and Messina Mine, Limpopo Province,  South Africa.  The Ajoite Crystals from the Arizona locality are usually formed as crystalline fibrous Crystals on host matrix.   While the Ajoite Crystals from the Messina Mine in South Africa are found as inclusions within Quartz Crystals, and it is the only locality known to produce such crystalline Ajoite inclusions within Quartz Crystals.  However, the mine had long been closed, thus making them very rare and sought after by collectors and metaphysicists alike.  The Ajoite inclusions are almost always found or occurred within crystalline Quartz Crystals or Quartz Crystals Point.  Thus, please be aware that those labeled as Ajoite in massive forms or tumbled forms are most likely some forms of Chrysocolla rather than actual Ajoite.
