This is a very rare natural raw slight Gwindel Smoky Quartz with Chlorite from Mont Blanc, France, a unique locality. Gwindel or twisted Crystal formation is one of the rarest forms among Quartz Crystal variety, they are only found in very limited high altitude localities around the world.

This French Smoky Quartz has slight gwindel formation or twisted rotation along its c-axis. It top side is semi double terminated with some etched crystalline surfaces and raw rough areas. It has translucent smoky brown colors with some gemmy areas, light glowing refraction, and internal rainbows. Parts of its surfaces are naturally etched and coated with some raw Chlorite. It has a sunken Record Keeper triangle on one if its faces, and there are some etched key areas around the base. It is an Empathic Warrior Crystal with some chips, nicks, dings, and raw spots, and its bottom side raw rough.

This Gwindel Smoky Quartz is a fusion of several Crystals stacked on top of each others with gwindel formation or twisted rotation along its c-axis. It is double terminated with some extra multiple terminations around some areas. It has translucent medium to dark smoky brown colors with some light glowing refraction and a bit of small rainbows. There are some Chlorite inclusions within and some are etched onto parts of its surfaces. It also has some small Feldspar intermixed together with it mostly around one side. The top side is it pretty good condition overall with some minor small chips, nicks and raw spots along the edges. There are a few large raw rough areas around the base, an Empathic Warrior, and its bottom side raw rough with some etched crystalline surfaces around one side. It can self stand and leans diagonally.
